With two airports serving Belfast Airport it is even easier to get a great price on lots of flights. You can get Belfast Flights to and from Belfast International Airport and George Best Belfast City Airport. Belfast International airport is about 20 minutes from the city and Belfast City airport is even nearer. Both airports offer convenient public transport options to the city centre.

Getting a flight to Belfast from the UK will probably mean travelling to George Best Belfast City Airport while more of the European flights tend to travel from Belfast International.

Travelling on a New York flight to Belfast or Mexico, Canada or even Florida all depart from Belfast International with airlines such as FlyGlobespan, Zoom and American airline Continental Airlines

Without the arrival of the low cost carries the flight destinations from Belfast would not have grown so fast. You can even get a Belfast flight from Blackpool saving you a lot of hassle rather than having to take a ferry.

If you are looking for flights to Belfast from destinations both Belfast Airports have various options on certain routes. Glasgow to Belfast flights are a perfect example of this as you can get a flight to Belfast City from Glasgow with Easyjet and Belfast International with Flybe. If you are not bothered which Belfast airport you travel to then you could get the best fare or the flight with the most convenient times.

The choice of flight you get is up to you and there is nothing stopping you getting a flight from Cardiff to Belfast City with Flybe and a flight back to Cardiff from Belfast International with Bmibaby.

Another great thing about the arrival of the cheaper airlines you can now go on a short break from Belfast to a great destination in Europe. No longer do you have to waste time travelling via Manchester or London and wait for a connecting flight. You can now get a direct flight giving you more time enjoying a new city.

Flights to Belfast from more and more areas of Europe giving a super choice of flight routes find out how you can save money on your next Belfast flight, ideas from travel professional Craig wilson of Travel Bites

I always wondered why people in the UK would desire to go to locations like the Dominican Republic for a summertime holiday. I have nothing against the Dominican Republic or any of the Caribbean destinations. Can they provide anything more than you can get at one of the numerous popular holiday destinations in Europe.

Why would you consider sitting on a plane for around twice as long as you possibly need. This is made even worse if you have young children who are not going to treasure being stuck in a seat on an aircraft for this length of time.

For most holidaymakers a journey to the Caribbean involves one of the all inclusive offers as the cost of food on beverage on some of the Caribbean destinations can be very costly. They spend all their vacation time in the holiday complex, which is in all chance located next to the beach. The accommodation offers entertainment in the evenings and you have all your beverages included with your all inclusive deal.

You could be anyplace in the world so why pay extra to travel all the way to the Caribbean. You can be in Spain in approximately 2 hours and stay in an all inclusive complex if you want. This way you can spend more cash on the grade of accommodation or pay less and get the same standard as in the Caribbean.

A suntan is a suntan and anybody looking at you when you get back from your holiday is not going to be able to tell where you developed your suntan. So if all you are worried about is in is lying by the swimming pool to get a tan why journey further than you need. All you are doing is spending extra money on a long haul trip, which could be either kept or spent on acquiring a better hotel or for more spending money.

Prior to reserving a vacation, think about what you really want and then have a search at the optimal options for your needs. It is your vacation so it is important to make sure you get the best one you can.

Thomson Holiday All Inclusive offers provide many holiday options. Find out how to get some great deals with travel tips from Jim Bonetti of travel site Cheap Holidays 2010

It is astonishing that by just doing a few checks you can save a lot of money on air travel. It is evidently a great idea to look about to get the best flight costs for your trip. As transparent as it appears a lot of individuals do not take the time and they end up paying extra for their vacation travel because they did not take a few minutes to look around.

The simplest step would be to contact a few travel agents and see what they can come up with. Make sure you countercheck what they say to you as they could be giving you biased information dependent on what will give them the greatest fees by selling you a particular airline. They may also omit to refer a flight firm that does not pay them any fees. Many travel agents will give you a fare with airlines that do not pay them a any fees however they may have included a booking fee in the final price. Check the fares with the airline direct either on the internet or by telephone whatever method is the easiest.

It is essential that you are aware of all the airline firms that operate the route you wish to go on so you are able to make the best choice. It is not always the lowest price that is the most favorable as spending a small bit more may give you a longer holiday with not as much time in the airport. If you are only going away for a weekend break it is more crucial that you are able to spend as much time in your selected destination as feasible.

Traveling to the correct airport is also important as some low cost flight firms advertise that they have seats to London. London has more than just one airport and they are not all that near to London itself. One of the London airports is a 45 minute train trip away from the heart on London. In some instances this can be just as long as the flight itself.

When you do find some flights make sure you equate the fares properly as a lot of flight firms add on lots of extras to the flight price. Typically extra baggage charges and fees to check-in at the airport are just to of the many extras that could be added on to your flight costs.

Finding cheap Newcastle flights or flights from most locations is easy if you know what do do. Follow the tips and advice of Diane Sanders of travel web site My Holiday Co

If you are planning to take European tours, you may have understood that they tend to target the usual locations.

by Brad Morgan

If you are going to make European tours, you may have seen that they tend to focus on the usual places.

You may find endless tours advertised for cities like Paris, Rome, London, and Barcelona. But other European cities provide extraordinary attractions that tourists hear little about.

For instance, you may have never thought of going to Budapest, but “the City of Spas” and “Queen of the Danube” is a European attraction. Capital of Hungary, Budapest offers a wealth of history and architecture to lure any tourist. Even the citizens are held in amazement of this magnificent city.

Budapest’s Marvelous History

Budapest is a sightseer’s dream. Natural resplendence combined with amazing architecture unites to make a enthralling scene. There are also myriad activities to keep you occupied on your European vacation.

History scholars will be amply frequented by the city’s museums. Visit the Aquincum Museum and notice the ruins of the ancient Roman Empire city of Aquincum.

The Budapest History Museum and Castle Museum are the important collection of Budapest?s archaeological unearthings and developments of the area from Romanic age.

Check out the well known railway system at the Transport Museum. It is one of the oldest collections of its sort. The variety and scope of history which exist in these museums is mind blowing. You could visit time and again and still know something interesting.

A fragment of that diverse history is the story of Budapest’s Jewish population, and visitors can explore this too.

It can be hard to think that in this spectacular and stunning city, a half million people were taken to Auschwitz. Among the splendor lies a reminder of what tragedy was faced by these residents.

The Glory of Mother Earth

If you have physical strains, try visiting one of Budapest’s hot springs. These natural origins of warm water are believed to have powerful healing qualities.

These are utilized as thermal baths, and visitors come from all over the globe to this City of Spas. Each spring or bath has its own story of origin.

Its no surprise people journey across the world to come to Budapest. The Szechenyi Bath is enough to make it worth the stressful journey. Its hot and deep water make it a place of interest even in the frigid winter air. Nowhere else in Europe can you find such a large, and perfect, bathing complex.

As if soaking in a natural, outdoor thermal bath weren’t remarkable enough, Budapest also houses beautiful caves. Carved by the springs, these provide yet one more amazing attraction to explore. Visiting Budapest is not unlike visiting a paradise.

Tours are available through a small number of the caves. This is truly a tour that appeals to the mind and the body.

If you think Europe only stands as far as Rome and London, you’ll be pleasantly amazed to find that Budapest is very much worth the trip. Take a trip out of the normal and be awed by the magnificence of Budapest.

Staggering natural beauty, interesting and replenishing springs, a cherished account of history: Budapest will keep you captivated irrespective of which attractions you are getting an opportunity to go to. You’ll really never forget this unique, gorgeous city.

There are 50 countries in Europe ” so you cannot visit all of them on a trip to Europe (unless you have several months). Instead you should focus your energy on a few large cities. In the following you can read about 4 cities in 4 countries, which have unique sights, food and/or nightlife.

Amsterdam, the Netherlands. If you are looking for a very liberal minded city with legal hash and sex, Amsterdam is the place to go. You can buy hash in the so-called coffeeshops or sex (which comes in all kind of sizes and nationalities) in the Red Light District.

But Amsterdam is much more than that. You can also see great art by Van Gogh and Rembrandt. Or visit the Anne Frank House ” known from the Anne Frank’s Diary.

Barcelona, Spain. Even though the capital of Spain is Madrid, Barcelona is without doubt a much more interesting city. In Barcelona you can find everything you need on a city break: amazing sights, superb food and a very pulsing nightlife. And if you like sport, you cannot miss a visit the amazing stadium Camp Nou ” the home ground for FC Barcelona.

The most amazing sight in the city is Sagrada Famlia ” the unfinished cathedral constructed by Antoni Gaud. Other places not to miss are the pedestrian street La Rambla, the harbor area and Barceloneta with the great tapas and seafood.

Budapest, Hungary. The Danube (known from the famous The Blue Danube waltz by Johan Strauss) divides Budapest in two: the hilly Buda on the left and the flat Pest on the right. The sightseeing should be focused on the Castle Hill in Buda and the central part of Pest, where the greatest sights are found.

Sights not to bed missed are the National Gallery and the Royal Palace. On Margaret Island there are great parks to relax and wander. For shopping you should go to the Vci Street or the largest shopping centre in Central Europe, Westend City Center.

Prague, the Czech Republic. Since the end of the Cold War, the prices in Prague have gone up. But the city is still full of cheap accommodation and restaurant ” so if you do not have that much money for a vacation, Prague is the place to go.

In Prague there are also many great sights. You can start your visit by the amazing Astronomical Clock in the old part of the city (called Star Mesto). Then you can pass the Vltava River on the Charles Bridge (remember to look at the painters and souvenir sellers) to left side of Prague. On the hills you can visit the biggest ancient castle in the world, the Prague Castle. If you have more time, also visit the Kafka Museum, the Jewish Museum and the Josefov ” the historical Jewish ghetto.

Any holidaying trip to Europe would not be complete without Malta holidays, which are one of the top holidaying selections in the world. Strategically located in the Mediterranean Sea, this island measures about 18 miles from one end to another but offers just about all the holiday activities that are possibly available anywhere else. The residents are cordial and offer a pleasant reception to tourists from every corner of the globe. Malta holidays have a great reputation and those who have not visited the location need to sample the excellent atmosphere and facilities on offer in order to have a memorable experience.

The weather is among the enticing features during Malta holidays and remains favorable all year round and this means a visit to the island during any season will not be disappointing. There are many activities to engage in such as hiking expeditions, water sports, spa treatment, shopping, rock climbing and many other leisure pursuits. Malta has a rich and eventful history, which is clearly exemplified by the architecture, food, art and other age-old representations of Maltese culture that have survived the years. There are many ancient structures and artifacts that have been preserved over time.

Year in year out, the entertainment calendar in Malta is packed with activities of different kinds such as music festivals, operas and other stage performances. The entertainment nights often kick off with a bite to eat at a local eating-place followed by a glass or two of wine. Attendance at a night performance is what rounds off the rest of the evening in style. Spa holidays are gaining popularity and Malta is not left behind. Currently the island has more than forty spa centers, which can accommodate many locals as well as tourists. Spa treatments offer body relaxation and revitalization, which is the main ingredient for a relaxing holiday.

A survey done recently by a travel magazine revealed that out of 35,000 readers, majority chose Malta holidays as the most favorable venue for diving in the whole of Europe. The same readers determined that it was the third best diving location in the world; closely behind Egypt and Maldives. Diving takes place in over 35 different spots on the island offering divers spectacular views of marine life. The sea is a magnificent highlight of the island and marine activities play a big part of the goings on. For beachside relaxation, one can opt to simply enjoy the seaside breeze while sun bathing.

For the more active individuals, there are many scheduled hiking treks into the magnificent green valleys, which offer a panoramic view of the island and the surrounding sea. The trails go through the high cliffs and valleys and even pass through villages as well as several ancient sites. Malta holidays also offer a haven for avid shoppers and the capital, Sliema, has plenty of high streets lined with shops stocked with modern brands. The shopping district also has a high concentration of coffee shops and wine bars that are conveniently tucked between the shops. Malta holidays have a diverse range of activities for everyone and offer the perfect vacationing destination.

A fascinating mix of attractions awaits visitors of Cap d’Agde: the natural setting of land and sea, rich heritage, modern convenience and amenities.

Whether you want to enjoy the sun, indulge in some outdoor or water sports, Cap d’Agde has the right attractions for a memorable vacation. If you are going as a family or just a couple, the resort would be a delightful destination, as it is very accessible and ideal for both a short break and a long stay.

Tourists are unlikely to find any idle moments while in Cap d’Agde, as four separate vacation destinations can be enjoyed from this resort, a marked contrast to other resorts limited only to a single attraction.

For one, Le Cap d’Agde has been designed as a modern resort with all the amenities, catering to all types of tourists, ranging from families to couples. In addition, the visitors could easily take side trips to Agde, a historic city founded 2600 years ago, or to the picturesque fishing village of Grau d’Agde, and also the quaint village of La Tamarissiere ensconced in a verdant pine forest.

For some tourists, the expanse of the resort is already sufficient. It stretches around the Mediterranean coast and encompasses 11 beaches and 10 different districts. Tourists can already revel at the Le Port and its lively quayside, bars and shops.

But aside from this lively social centre, they can likewise opt to explore nine small suburban districts each with its own character and amenities. Visitors can relish the thought that even if they are at a centre of a bustling tourist enclave, they can easily retire to some secluded hideaway.

Finding accommodation won’t be a problem as there are holiday villages, hotels, apartments, villas and campsites, all of which are geared to please. The Cap d’Agde Tourist Office provides a central booking office where tourists can conveniently arrange accommodations to suit their needs. Online information on Cap d’Agde accommodations can also be of great assistance to arrange resort bookings.

Despite its modernity, Cap d’Agde has found a treasure in having its link with the 2600-year old city of Agde. Replete in heritage and history, Agde started out as a Greek colony during the 5th century, flourishing with its strategic location where the Herault River and Canal du Midi opens to the Mediterranean Sea.

Tracing its origins from a 5th century Greek colony, Agde is also close to Mount Saint Loup, an extinct volcano, which has also contributed in shaping the heritage of the city, mainly its architecture. Many old buildings in Agde are made of the black volcanic rock from Mount Saint Loup.

The old city centre is thus one marvel for visitors to explore, with beautiful architectural structures and artisan shops lining up along some of its winding streets. This laid-back ambience is enriched further, every Thursday, when a local market opens to offer native crafts and other produce from the locals.

A charming stroll along the Canal du Midi, in addition, will take tourists to the culinary delights of restaurants and the refreshing ambience of bars. Prospective visitors could pore through the heritage page of the city’s website to learn more about Agde and its historical allure.

The small fishing village of Grau d’Agde is a logical next stop for visitors, for it is close both to the old city of Agde and the Cap d’Agde resort. The village is situated on the left bank of the River Haut where it joins the Mediterranean.

Life is much quieter here, but you will find excellent accommodation nonetheless. Here, you’ll find a small resort with its own beach and an inviting quayside which is host to a retinue of restaurants and bars. From the village, during peak season, you can take a ferry to another alluring destination, La Tamarissiere.

Visitors who enjoy vacationing in solitude will find a home in the small village of La Tamarissiere. It nestles between the beach and the river, and a 200-year old pine forest surrounds the village to provide a truly tranquil environment.

At La Tamarissiere, you can go boating, fishing, wind surfing and sailing, as well as camping to relish all that nature has to offer.

Tourists embarking on a holiday centred around Cap d’Agde will be delighted in its varied offerings: fascinating heritage, modern convenience and a beautiful natural setting.

This Mediterranean resort has attractions to provide delight to the sun worshippers, sports aficionados, couples and families seeking a wonderful vacation. Access to this resort is convenient, making it an ideal destination, whether for a short break or a long summer vacation.

Cap d’Agde visitors will enjoy the variety of activities in the resort, for this is a place with four destinations to enjoy, unlike other tourist spots confined to only one attraction. Le Cap d’Agde, for one, boasts a modern beach resort suitable for all members of the family.

The resort complex for some visitors may just be enough. Already the resort has 11 beaches to choose from, as well as 10 districts all worth a visit. There’s the Le Port with its pulsating bars, shops and quayside.

But aside from this lively social centre, they can likewise opt to explore nine small suburban districts each with its own character and amenities. Visitors can relish the thought that even if they are at a centre of a bustling tourist enclave, they can easily retire to some secluded hideaway.

The choice is, likewise, large for tourist accommodations. There are hotels, apartments, holiday villas, and campsites available. A central booking office run by the Cap d’Agde Tourist office makes lodging inquiries easy and booking accommodations convenient. An even better alternative is to access the d’Agde website which contains user-friendly accommodation guides for the ideal lodging places.

At Cap d’Agde, you’ll be able to stay in a modern complex and at the same time be acquainted with an old, historic city that has already been in existence for 2600 years. The city of Agde owes its longevity to a strategic location, straddling an area where the waters of Herault River and the Canal du Midi converge with the Mediterranean Sea.

The city is also the next-door neighbour of Mount Saint Loup, an extinct volcano; many old buildings in Agde were in fact built with black volcanic rocks from this mountain.

This you can see in the old city centre which, aside from the architectural curiosity, also hosts artisan shops in its winding streets. It would be ideal for you to visit the city centre on a Thursday as it is the day when a local market opens to sell local wares and crafts.

A charming stroll along the Canal du Midi, in addition, will take tourists to the culinary delights of restaurants and the refreshing ambience of bars. Prospective visitors could pore through the heritage page of the city’s website to learn more about Agde and its historical allure.

A fitting sequel to a tour of Agde would be a visit to the small fishing village of Grau d’Agde which is near the old city and likewise close to the Cap d’Agde resort. The village is ideally located, sitting on the River Haut’s left bank.

At the mouth of the waterway flowing to the Mediterranean, the village is home to a resort with quiet accommodation, a beach for guests and a quay lined with small bars and restaurants. During peak season, visitors can take a ferry from this village and head for yet another enchanting destination, La Tamarissiere.

This destination is likewise a small village where tourists will find the solitude to soothe the rigors of everyday living. La Tamarissiere is a tourist paradise tucked between the beach and the river, with a 200-year old pine forest surrounding the village.

At La Tamarissiere, you can go boating, fishing, wind surfing and sailing, as well as camping to relish all that nature has to offer.
