If you are searching for a great way to spend your holiday, you may want to consider looking into the Gold Coast region of Australia. Whether you are traveling from within Australia or from somewhere else on the globe, you will find nothing but wonder when you arrive in the Gold Coast. There are three main factors that you should follow whenever traveling. Knowing each of these will allow for a more wonderful holiday experience.

Balance Your Time- The Gold Coast is a beautiful region, scenic and filled with things to do. Having the best possible holiday experience means balancing your lazy days on the beach with days filled with activities. It is a delicate balance, but one that will make for the best possible holiday. Be sure that the day you arrive and the one right before you leave are lazy beach days. Trying to accomplish too many activities is a mistake while visiting this region. Alternate activity days with beach days and you will have the best of both worlds.

Project In Advance- try to lay out the essential prospects of your travel considerably in advance. Utilize the web to reach the information you desire and to make bookings. The farther you set up matters in advance, the greater chance you will get everything you are looking for, and this will establish the most roaring holiday.

Knowing Right From Wrong In The Region- When ever you are traveling to an unfamiliar location it is important that you make your self aware of all the rules, traffic laws, and even beach rules of the area. It is also a wise idea to learn about the different terminology of things as well as the language that is spoken. By learning all this before you leave on your trip you will make for a much smoother holiday experience.

If you have already chosen the Gold Coast for your next holiday vacation destination, you will not be disappointed. It is the perfect location for a beach holiday filled with fun and adventure. No matter what you fancy you will find it on the coast of Australia .

There are so many broadbeach hotels for you to choose from it can take you days just to research and price compare. However, there is one way that will only take a manner of minutes. Log onto www.goldcoastinformation.com.au, to find all you need on broadbeach accommodation.

The Melbourne Convention Centre is the largest convention center in the Southern part of the globe. It is located in Melbourne on the Yarra river in South Wharf. It also includes the Melbourne Exhibition Centre and is called MCEC. It is easily accessed by all transportation in the Melbourne area. It hosts conferences, conventions, seminars, meetings, galas, and more.

The Melbourne Convention Centre has 32 meeting rooms and a large banquet room. AV and communications technology is built into rooms for the latest in updated conferencing, and some rooms have satellite control for smart lectern capability. It allows organizers and speakers to manage conferences themselves.

The meeting rooms go from small to large as well as the large banquet styled room. They interconnect with other rooms to form spaces that are almost the same. The plenary can support a full theatrical production with every detail and need accounted for.

The plenary is also moveable, with walls that can be divided to form three other theaters. Inside the exhibition centre is a 493 seat auditorium, and it is the only event venue that has been awarded Green Globe accreditations as well as WasteWise awards. Green building is an important aspect for the convention centre.

The Melbourne Convention Centre has the largest pillarless floor space in the Southernmost part of the world, with it measuring a huge 30,000 metres. It was designed by Denton Corker Marshall and includes its famous razor entrance. An entrance foyer can accomodate 8,400 guests, with views of the river seen through the glass walls.

The Convention Centre is the first convention centre in the world to be awarded the Six Star Green Star award, an award given out by the Green Building Council of Melbourne, for its sustainable design. The building features displacement ventilation, which provides a good air flow while using less energy, and a glass fa?ade that allows natural warm light to shine in.

Energy efficient lighting and a black wastewater treatment building collects wastewater to recycle. Fixtures are also water efficient, using a chemical system for environmental compatibility. Fresh air is controlled through carbon dioxide monitoring and carpets, paints and sealants are low in Volatile Organic Compounds to help air quality. Timber from the Forest Stewardship Council is used as well as sustainable furnishings.

A full on catering kitchen is also provided for guests planning an event. 1,500 guests fit into the banquet room, which can also be separated into two rooms. Produce is bought strictly through local farmers and only the best ingredients used in meal planning. Wines are bought from Victorian vineyards and small boutiques. Each menu is carefully planned, and tastings are also available for clients.

Melbourne is a lovely setting for a conference. It is an easy going and friendly city, with temperate weather and low crime. The Melbourne airport flies hundreds of international and a thousand domestic routes in every week.

The Melbourne Convention Centre is a marvel of technology, environmental sustainability, and function, able to serve guests with their every need regardless of the event, big or small. It is unmatched in its versatility and compatibility.

Looking for a Motel at Melbourne for your next stay?

Traditionally people visit the Gold Coast Australia for all the coastal and water based attractions such as swimming, surfing, beaches and the many theme parks and other Gold Coast attractions. But take a step away from the hustle and bustle of the Gold Coast main beach to discover the Gold Coast hinterland and you will get the full Gold Coast experience. Be sure to visit the Gold Coast Hinterland destinations such as Springbrook National Park, Canungra and Numinbah Valley. There is so much more to do in the Gold Coast hinterland that is so uniquely different from sites and attractions from anywhere else you may have travelled.

The serene and tiny settlement of Springbrook nestles in the Springbrook National Park. The Antarctic Beech trees and the wildlife will take you to another world. Several waterfalls adorn this national park area, which is a rocky enchanting landscape. The Purlingbrook Falls is the most important among them. This beautiful rainforest offers several kilometres of walking trails that will help you unwind from the stress of the busy life you had been leading. You should never miss the one km trail in the Natural Bridge area in the park, which takes you to a glow worm cave situated at Cave Creek. This trail is through the Natural Arch. At the base of the creek, you can swim in the Waringa Pool and refresh yourself.

Lamington National Park is a popular Gold Coast Hinterland attraction and is located in the valleys of the Canungra Creek, Coomera River, Binna Burra Resorts and O’Reilly’s. These landscapes have served the local vignerons well and Canungra has become well known for some excellent wineries and restaurants making it a must see for foodies. In Canungra the fourth Saturday of the month attracts the stall holders and vendors to the monthly markets who offer a broad selection of produce and products including fresh produce, gifts, clothing and local arts and crafts. Canungra also offers a number of bushwalking options through heavily wooded areas with conveniently located picnic spots.

Traditional owners of the Gold Coast Hinterland, Australia’s aboriginal people discovered a narrow valley that appeared to be holding two mountains together with a mystic power. The aboriginals called the valley ‘Nyummin’ which translated to mean ‘hold tight country’. Today this area is the picturesque Numinbah Forest Reserve which is home to Waterfall Creek, silky oaks and dry Eucalypt trees which are empowering attractions. Visitors who prefer can also seek permission from the national park authorities to cycle or horse ride in this area.

Visitors seeking accommodation in Springbrook may try the comfort of the Binna Burra Mountain Lodge, Cedar Lake Country Resort, Springbrook Mountain Manor, O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat & Mountain Villas, Boonah Valley Motel, Hardy House Bed & Breakfast and the Mouses House. Accommodation prices of these Gold Coast hotels and Gold Coast resorts vary and start from around $90 per night for budget accommodation and increases significantly for luxury Gold Coast accommodations. Canungra also offers a number of excellent Gold Coast accommodations including Wallaby Ridge Retreat, Baggs of Canungra Bed & Breakfast and O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. For those who wish to soak up more of the great outdoors, Sharp Park River Bend Country Bush Camping is the cheapest option, with budget priced basic rooms without facilities. For more up market accommodation try the 5-star comfort of O’Reilly’s.

The Gold Coast Australia should be on the list of every tourist as an ideal vacation spot. Gold Coast holidays with their beaches and hinterland national parks and rainforests offer extraordinary experience

Surely you will not find yourself with nothing to do if you choose the Gold Coast as your nest holiday destination. As a matter of fact there is so much to do on the Gold Coast that you may have to relocate to this location if you really want to have the time to truly appreciate all that this destination has to offer.

While in the Gold Coast in addition to the incredible water activities and of course the amusement areas, there is also a wealth of amazing shopping experiences with many large shopping complexes conveniently located to meet not only your immediate needs but to also entertain even the most discerning shopper.

The Pacific Fair complex is the Gold Coasts most incredible shopping experience. This is an indoor/outdoor shopping center has around 300 retailers including unique shops, banks, a post office and many wonderful dinning locals. This complex also has medical services available, should the need for medical attention arise.

The Pacific Fair complex also is home to popular retailers such as K Mart, Target, Lowes and Toys R Us. Then there are smaller, locale retail shops for jewelery, clothing, and books. On top of all this you can pamper yourself with a hair cut and manicure at a wonderful salon or talk a walk and enjoy the parks, greenery, lakes and streams. If you are visiting with children there is a play park as well, so that they can have a little fun themselves while you are visiting from one retail shop to another.

And while there are many things to do and see on the Gold Coast, if shopping is your thing then you will definitely want to make a visit to the Pacific Fair complex. An incredible shopping bonanza, a trip to this shopping complex is a great way to spend an afternoon strolling around and taking in a delicious lunch or dinner.

HelpMeSis.com.au is a brand new website that acts as a portal featuring the very best Australian online shopping sites and information websites. The comprehensive and well-researched website has been two years in the making and saves women valuable time and frustration by only showing the best and most relevant websites in each of the many categories.

After 2 years of meticulous research and web development, HelpMeSis.com.au was officially launched in Sydney on 1 January 2010. This comprehensive website acts as a useful portal for busy Australian women, showing them the very best Australian online shopping sites and information websites.

The extensive and informative guide to Australia’s best and most relevant websites was created to help time-poor women find quality products, information and services quickly and easily. Its launch was the culmination of two years of labour by former high school teacher Veronica Ryan.

“Over the past few years, I have visited and revisited many thousands of Australian websites and have hand picked hundreds of the very best to be included in the HelpMeSis website,” said Ms Ryan. “I have chosen these websites for their overall quality, integrity and security and their usefulness and relevance to Australian women,” she said.

The website listings and reviews have been organised into logical categories. Along with a logo, name, link to the site and description of products and services, Ms Ryan has also included practical details such as each company’s ABN and shipping information for shopping websites.

“To have all this information available on one website means women no longer need to visit dozens of individual websites first to find out exactly what they offer and whether they provide online shopping and Australia-wide shipping. They can compare all of this on the HelpMeSis website and only visit the most relevant website, saving them a great deal of time,” said Ms Ryan.

The manual selection process for included websites, together with the navigational simplicity of the portal, its sheer comprehensiveness, detailed information and overall relevance to Australian women, sets HelpMeSis apart from other online directories.

In addition to Australian shopping websites, the HelpMeSis portal also includes a number of themed information sections. A ‘Green Guide’ offers a great deal of information about green products and services and links to quality businesses that sell natural Australian organic products. The ‘Useful Information’ section provides answers to many common queries Australian women have. A complete ‘Parenting’ and baby shopping section gives links to Australian stores specialising in quality parenting & baby products and to sites offering expert information and advice for parents.

Other noteworthy sections on the HelpMeSis website include a ‘Health and Fitness’ section and a ‘Leisure’ section, which offers links to websites providing What’s On information for all Australian capital cities and the Gold Coast. The site further features a blog spot and people can sign up to receive an informative monthly HelpMeSis newsletter.

Men needn’t feel left out either, as Ms Ryan has also launched a ‘brother’ site, aptly named HelpMeBro.com.au where men can shop online at the best Australian online shopping sites. This guys-only site has many of the features of the women’s site but has been styled for men and doesn’t include any of the ‘girly’ content.

If you are a tourist and you are searching for a great place in all of Australia, then head for Airlie Beach. A small town, it is situated in Whitsunday region quite close to the Great Barrier Reef. Hence, it is an ideal place for sight seeing as well as a great experience of pleasures and joys.

Brisbane often tends to be the starting point for any holiday maker who is visiting Queensland – Brisbane being the capital city. Its strategic location allows it to function as the gateway to the entire state. While in Brisbane why not visit the center for arts and culture – South Bank.

This is where Queensland Museum, the Gallery for Modern Arts, the Performing Arts Center and the Art Gallery are all situated. Otherwise, take time to visit Lone Pine Koala, the Riverlife Adventure Center, Story Bridge and Moreton Bay Islands.

Around Airlie
After you leave the airport, you can opt for the bus service to go to the Airlie town or the second option is taxi. The rates of both are around $15 Australian. It is about 40 minute’s journey to town center from the airport.

What to do at Airlie
You should know Airlie Beach is not the best place to swim. October to May you will find jellyfish frequently in the coastal waters and you won’t be able to swim in those months without a special diving suit. However you will find a wonderful man-made lagoon which provides for many of the delights of the sea. This man made lagoon is also safe for kids. This lagoon is watched over by lifeguards.

There is a local market near to the beach. This market is a weekly market and opens on Saturdays. There you will find all the local stuff like food and craft items at good prices too. Over all, Airlie beach is a wonderful place to relax so start planning your itinerary now.

Australia’s Sunshine Coast lies just to the north of Brisbane in Queensland and comprises a collection of several coastal towns including old-fashioned Coolum, laid-back Caloundra and touristy Noosa, as well as the peaceful Sunshine Hinterland area.

The Sunshine Coast has quite a collection of historical attractions, one of which is the scenic railway line known as the Valley Rattler which tours the Mary Valley in the Coast’s Cooloola Region. Visitors can choose between half-morning excursions, half day excursions and full day excursions on this quaint old-fashioned steam train known as the Red Rocket Rail Motor. Full day excursions see the train traveling to Dagun, Imbil and Kandanga, where passengers can disembark and tour these towns. Half day excursions can take place either in the morning or the afternoon and include trips to Amamoor and Dagun Stations where visitors can enjoy morning or afternoon tea or perhaps a glass of wine. The half-morning excursions last two hours and the train travels between Gympie and Amamoor Stations, giving passengers a chance to explore the Amamoor arts and crafts fairs.

The Landsborough Museum in Maleny Street, Landsborough, is one of the most extensive social history museums in the Sunshine Coast area and its mission is to collect, preserve and exhibit all artifacts, documents, stories and the like relating to the area known as Caloundra City. Its standing exhibitions include the personal collection of the explorer William Landsborough, as well as those of the erstwhile Premier of Queensland, Sir Francis Nicklin, and local businessman John Tytherleigh. Further exhibitions are those of indigenous tools, camera equipment, dental equipment and the fascinating relics collected from the Wreck of the SS Dicky. The museum also has an extensive library of local documents of historical significance, photographs and Government Gazettes, as well as the Breezeway, where temporary exhibits are displayed.

And last but not least is Sunshine Castle Bli Bli, a unique recreation of a Norman Castle in the Australian outback that dates back to 1971. Castle Bli Bli offers tourists so many things to do that it is hard to know where to start describing them and hard to know what to do first.

You could start by wandering through the toy and doll museum, with its fairytale dioramas, model train railway and dancing dolls or you could, instead, start by climbing the 24m tall lookout tower to enjoy the superb view of both the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland. But whatever you do, don’t miss your chance to sit on the original throne as used in the Xena, Warrior Princess, television series.

When you are looking for sunshine coast information go to www.sunshinecoastinformation.com.au. Whether you are looking to stay in one of the many Mooloolaba Hotels or wanting to know about local happenings all you need can be found on this site.

Australia is an enormous country and for those intending on doing some travelling there, there are a number of things to remember.

if you plan to rent a vehicle and explore the country yourself without being on some sort of tour, then you will find that you may end up driving long distances between destinations. Taking regular breaks along the way will be important, and its a good idea to plan your trip in advance so that you know where and when you may be able to take a break long your intended route.

it is also advisable, when travelling to remote areas within the outback, that you inform the local tourist board, the hotel/hostel you are staying in, or friends and family exactly when and where you are going and how long you intend to be gone. If you run into any unexpected hazards, therefore, there will be people who know there may be a problem.

if when in these remote areas, you intend on doing any bush-walking, then you must prepare accordingly. The heat can be intense and the terrain equally so, therefore bringing sufficient supplies of water and food and some form of shelter from the sun is very important. There are numerous hazards that might affect you and having back up supplies may come in very handy.

it is also important to remember that there are a number of dangerous species of animal with Australia, from poisonous snakes and spiders to crocodiles and sharks. Whatever it is you intend on doing, find out from the local authorities which of these may be lurking in the wild.

in the water also, crocodiles and sharks can be a serious problem. More so for surfers and swimmers however are the rip currents that can drag people under and drown them. Be wary of venturing into areas that are deserted and stick to ’swimmer safe’ zones for all your aquatic activities.

Peter de Vries has stayed in Australia for more than forty years and his favourite destination to visit is Noosa.
